The Spanish Maritime Law Association (SMLA) celebrates its Annual Congress on the 16th and 17th of June in Madrid. This edition, which counts with the sponsorship of our Firm, corresponds with the 30th anniversary of the accession of Spain to the European Economic Community –current European Union- that took place the 1st of January of 1986. Therefore, the EU Maritime Law will be the main subject of discussion during the panels of the Congress, with a special emphasis on security, competition, ports and jurisdiction.
