This morning a new working breakfast took place, organised by the Spanish Maritime Cluster, in which Professor and Economist Mr. Ramón Tamames has approached the changes occurred in the Global Economy since 2007, beginning of the current crisis. Our Partner Javier Galiano and our Senior Associate Carlos Sanlorenzo attended the working breakfast on behalf of the Firm.

According to Professor Tamames the evolution in the economic development models has not been followed by satisfactory economic policies. Nevertheless, he conceives -notwithstanding the crisis- that an economical growth has happened pursuant to globalization.

Relating to Spain, Professor Tamames has highlighted the Tourism growth as a driver of our economy. In the matter of the Shipping area he has outlined its leverage effect on other economical areas, so as the expectations breaded by ports, yachting and nautical repairs.
