Education

Juan Pablo is a lecturer at the Carlos III University in several subjects, both undergraduate and postgraduate, including Company Law, Commercial Contracts, Business Law for Entrepreneurs or Maritime and Air Navigation Law. He is also the coordinator of several Master’s courses at the Carlos III University and ISDE. He graduated in Law at Universidad Carlos III (2007), where he obtained his PhD in 2015 with a Thesis on the Period of Carrier’s Liability in the Maritime Carriage of Goods. Juan Pablo is currently the Coordinator of the Moot Madrid arbitration competition (www.mootmadrid.es) and the Law Summer School in Madrid (organized by Seattle University and Carlos III University). He is also the coach of the university team at the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot organized by Murdoch University (Australia). Juan Pablo has carried out several research stages at international institutions in the field of private law, including the University of Southampton, Fordham University, UNIDROIT, Tulane University and the Universitá degli Studi di Bologna. Juan Pablo assist the Maritime and Insurance teams and his incorporation responds to a strategy of reinforcing the Firm in the academic field, strengthening our links with the University.
