Carlos Sanlorenzo

Carlos Sanlorenzo will join our Firm as Senior Associate and head of the Yachting practice area, in which ALBORS GALIANO PORTALES has already been counselling for several years as part of our expertise on Maritime and Transport Law, Insurance and Reinsurance Law.

As part of our business strategy of this year, and in order to meet the new needs of the yachting sector following the update of its legal framework, ALBORS GALIANO PORTALES has decided to reinforce its presence in the leisure marine sector, a practice area in which our Firm has already been advising and giving assistance on matters ranging from dispute resolutions; finance, purchase and sale of yachts; casualties, insurance and civil liability.

In this endeavour, we are very pleased to welcome Carlos Sanlorenzo who is also Secretary-General of ANEN (Spanish Marine Trade Association), position he will be combining with the professional practice. Carlos graduated in Law from the University of Valencia and is a member of the Valencia Law Society. Carlos specialises in maritime law, and, particularly, in yachting. Carlos holds a Master in Maritime Law, Shipping Business and Port Management from the Barcelona School of Nautical Studies (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) and a Master in Administration of Marinas and Port Facilities. Carlos is a regular lecturer in the Maritime Law, Shipping Business and Port Management Master at the Barcelona School of Nautical Studies and has been deeply involved -in his position of Secretary-General of ANEN- in the drafting of the regulations on yachting.

This announcement coincides with a meaningful moment in our Firm, since we are celebrating our 25th anniversary.

ALBORS GALIANO PORTALES thus broadens its presence in the maritime sector in which our Firm has become established as a benchmark Firm in Maritime practice, both nationally and internationally.

With offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao, our Firm is also supported by correspondent lawyers in the main Spanish capitals as well as by its international network of well-established correspondent law firms.
