Next 10th and 11th September, the Meeting on Port and Maritime Law will take place in the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) in Santander. The main objective of this meeting is to analyze the important challenges the Spanish port system faces to maintain and, to the extent possible, improve its competitive position on an international level. The Meeting will analyze the modification of the ports’ concession periods, their environmental evaluation, the procurement and transposition of the new European guidelines and the port services from the new Spanish Shipping Act’s perspective.
